1. About the service

CoverShield is a free insurance quote referral service operated at covershield.live. We connect consumers with state-licensed insurance agents and admitted carriers. CoverShield is not an insurance company, underwriter, or licensed insurance producer. All quotes, binding, underwriting, and policy issuance are performed by the independent licensed agents and carriers we refer you to.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a US resident to submit a quote request. By using the service you represent that the information you provide is accurate.

3. No insurance advice

Content on covershield.live — including state guides, premium estimates, cost ranges, and calculators — is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute insurance advice or an offer of insurance. Coverage availability, eligibility, and pricing vary by state and carrier. Always confirm details with a licensed agent before binding a policy.

4. Licensing

Agents in our network are licensed in the state(s) where they sell. Agent license numbers are available on request and can be verified through your state's Department of Insurance. CoverShield does not hold an insurance producer license.

5. Communications

By submitting a quote request you authorize CoverShield and the partner agents/carriers to contact you by phone, SMS, and email about insurance products. See our Privacy Policy for full TCPA-consent and opt-out details.

6. Third-party content

We may link to third-party websites, carriers, or tools. We don't control or endorse the content of those sites and are not responsible for their availability or privacy practices.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that any specific carrier will offer coverage or quote a particular price.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CoverShield will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to US$100.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance.
