The agent runs side-by-side quotes from carriers admitted in your state and binds the policy directly. We never touch your money.
Licensing & compliance
Every quote you receive through CoverShield is delivered by an agent who holds an active resident or non-resident producer license in your state. Carriers are NAIC-tracked and admitted in the state they quote.
Agent licensing
CoverShield itself is not an insurance producer. The agents in our network hold individual producer licenses in the state where they quote. License numbers are available on request and can be independently verified through your state's Department of Insurance lookup tool.
How we make money
CoverShield is paid a flat referral fee by partner agencies when a call results in a bound policy. We are not paid more for steering you toward any particular carrier or product. Quotes are always free to you.
What we do not do

Regulatory framework
